Heart on a chain
( Oct. 2nd, 2010 02:23 am)
I've had a nasty case of laryngitis all week, which led me to miss opening night of opera season and the ballet this week, so unsurprisingly I haven't even looked at Frozen Teardrop since the last time I posted.

But, before I forget, I wanted to post this link to Canada's AuroraMAX Project. It's a time-lapse webcam trained on the sky over Yellowknife (where Ein and Angelina attempt to elope), so you, too, can watch the aurora without that pesky cold and travel thing.

There's no guarantee that there'll be an aurora on any given night, but that's part of the fun. There was one last night (around 4am their time October 1st), and it really was pretty brilliant.
Quite frankly, this chapter is boring me to tears, and my brilliant Post-It Note system of translating isn't holding up to documents more than ten pages long or so. So, I'm posting this chapter in three parts; I'll get to the other parts when I have the chance.

Rondo of Atonement I (1/3)

As usual, please don't expect excellence from my translation; I do my best but there are likely to be mistakes. If you spot any, please let me know.
In that vein, please don't repost any of my translations, as I will often edit them after the fact.
The first installation in the serial novel Frozen Teardrop came out on June 26. This translation is decidedly unprofessional but hopefully adequate for entertainment purposes.

This is a friends-only journal. I am no longer part of any fandom and can't see why you would be interested in this journal, but if you add me I will most likely be happy to return the favor.
